His continued annoyance with one of the other main characters is demonstrated by the fact that he finishes an entire sweater vest and two gun cosies in a week:
Not that I would ever knit a gun cosy, or even a tissue box cosy for that matter, but it is pretty funny. And, of course, a television show with knitting content doesn't pass by without someone re-creating a garment worn by one of the characters and posting it on Ravelry. So if you really like the show you can watch it while you knit "Ned's Toasty Scarf" by Lynn Hoffman.
I myself was able to get in a couple of episodes and finish up my second Annabella's Cowl before it was time to get the boy up for school. Happily, I have something for FO Friday after all:
It's now officially my second Annabella's Cowl and I still love this pattern. I won't list all the details here since I wrote about them both already, but it's Raveled here. Now if only I can finish up my husband's Christmas sweater soon, I might have something for next Friday too.

Pretty cowl! Sorry that it came at the expense of a good night's sleep though. I keep hearing about Pushing Daisies, I might have to cave in and check it out this weekend. I <3 Netflix.

ReplyDeleteLove Love Love Pushing Daisies. My husband and I found it on Netflix a few months ago and are slowly watching the episodes since there aren't that many before it was canceled. It really is a great, unique show.

Lovely colours in the cowl. The idea of knitted gun cozies made me laugh, but I suppose if he is a PI type it makes sense!
ReplyDeleteYour cowl turned out great. The colors are so soft and pretty. I've never heard of this show until now, but those knitting pics have really piqued my interest. I will definitely be adding this to my Netflix queue. Something that my husband and I can both watch together, too!
ReplyDeleteI loved Pushing Daisies! I caught Chi McBride (Emerson Cod) on some talk show promoting the new show. He talked about how he had to learn how to knit for his character, and actually demonstrated it on the show. I was so very bummed that they cancelled the show.
ReplyDeleteI was wide awake at around 5 am this morning. It was my own fault, I missed one of my tablets during the afternoon. I have now set an alarm so this is NEVER repeated. I didn't knit though, I just read. You are very good to achieve something with your insomnia.

ReplyDeleteI am going to cue that movie...just the photos made me laugh...not sure why. Anyhoo, love the cowl. I am 2/3 finished with mine now and already have the yarns chosen for #2. It is such a simple knit, perfect for riding in car or layover therapy. Thanks for sharing.
